Steps to set up Rediffmail Enterprise Mailing for your domain

• I have purchased Rediffmail Enterprise Mailing Solutions, How do I Start now??

  To start using Rediffmail Mailing Solutions, please refer to our Welcome Mail.To activate your email services mentioned steps are to be followed.

  Basic Step is to

  • Admin Panel- You should have received password for your admin panel on your reqistered email address & mobile number – See Video
  • Create Users – Follow the steps mentioned to create users in admin panel.
  • DNS Records – MX record, Webmail & SPF record – You can change this records whenever you want to start your services through Rediff.
  • Data Migration – If you want to migrate email data from your existing service provider then kindly send email to migration@rediffmailpro.com mentioning the total space & numbers of accounts to be migrated.

• Which DNS records do we need to add or edit for using Rediffmail Enterprise Emails?

  • Webmail

    You need to point the cname record for your webmail i.e mail.example.com / webmail.example.com to platform.rediffmailpro.com This will help you access the emails over the web interface.

  • MX records

    Point the MX records of the domain “example.com” to mail.rediffmailpro.com with Preference/Priority = 10 This record is very important to activate your account.

  • SPF record

    SPF records are a type of DNS TXT record commonly used for email authentication You need to add the mentioned txt record – “v=spf1 redirect=_spf.rediffmailpro.com -all”

• Change DNS records: Set up MX & CNAME records

  To activate Rediffmail Enterprise Mailing, your domain’s MX records must be pointing to Rediffmail servers.

  You can add/Manage MX records using the control panel given by your domain host or hosting provider (wherever your current DNS is pointing).

  There are 2 methods you can use to add users.

  • SINGLE user at a time.

  Follow the steps mentioned in the tutorials to create users in Bulk. Please go through the video properly as it explains all the points required for bulk user creation.

• How do I create a Group / Mailing list / Distribution list account?

  • The group email account will have a collection of other email accounts as its members. A group id is an email account to which the sender will send mail & the members of the group will receive the mail. Group Email is also known by different names like “Mailing List“, and “Distribution List” & the administrator can also apply for permissions on the group email accounts if needed.

• I want to configure emails in Outlook / Thunderbird.

  You can configure emails in POP or IMAP, please go through the tutorials below for setup.

  Rediffmail on the Mobile APP is available for users.

  • ANDROID USERS – Download App from Google Playstore.
  • IOS USERS – Download App from Apple Store.

• What is the process to migrate data from other service provider to Rediff?

  You can easily Migrate emails from Gsuite and O365 or any other cloud /local email service provider to Rediff. We will provide a Migration Panel using which you can migrate the data & monitor the overall migration process.

  • You need to send email to migration@rediffmailpro.com.
  • Migration team will accordingly release the migration panel.
